The 5th Annual Plasma University Research Conference 2025, themed “Health and Health System Challenges in Somalia,” invites researchers, healthcare professionals, and innovators to submit their research on critical health issues facing Somalia. This conference is an excellent platform to collaborate and engage with experts in addressing the country’s most pressing healthcare challenges.

    Addressing the shortage of healthcare facilities and trained professionals to build resilient health systems.
  2. Combating Malnutrition: Strategies for Reducing Childhood Wasting and Stunting
    Tackling the malnutrition crisis affecting children and women in Somalia.

3-Immunization and Disease Prevention: Expanding Coverage and Tackling Vaccine Hesitancy
Reducing the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases like polio, measles, and diphtheria.

4-Mental Health and Well-being: Addressing the Rising Mental Health Crisis:

The following are the official requirements for submitting research to the 5th Annual Plasma University Research Conference 2025. Please ensure that your manuscript adheres to these guidelines to guarantee successful submission and consideration:

Plasma University  Annual Research Conference Guidelines:

Introduction:

The Annual  Plasma University Research Conference is intended to be held each year to coincide with the Plasma University Award Week sponsored by Plasma University. The 5TH Annual  Research Conference offers a platform that will share knowledge exchange for research matters that affect the country

Structure of the Manuscript:

The manuscript should contain the items mentioned below:

  1. Language:
    1. The manuscripts could be written in Somali, Arabic, and English
  2. Manuscript’s Length:
    1. The original work should be between 5000 and 8000 words, including tables and charts. However, an excellent component longer than 8000 words will be taken into consideration. Writing concisely is encouraged.
    1. Plasma University Annual Research Conference before presentation and publications should be formatted in spacing 1.5, Times New Roman of 12 size font, A4 paper with normal margins (Top 1″, Bottom 1″, Left 1″, and Right 1″).  
  3. Content of The 5TH Annual Research Conference:

    1. Introduction
